Puzzle Complete: The Human Genome Project

Project overview
This mock editorial cover was designed to highlight a scientific article that details the completion of the Human Genome Project. As part of the project’s ongoing research, scientific scholars have uncovered more than 100 new genes and a multitude of genetic variations between individuals, some of which most likely play a key role in the expression of certain diseases. Scientists also discovered more than two million new areas in the human genome where there is variation from one individual to another. With our newfound knowledge of the human genome, we can now begin to understand the nuances of our genes, which will be invaluable in future genetic studies of human diseases.
